We don’t get out that much. Maybe you can tell from our clothes. But at least we got out. We went to the Sonoma Charter School fundraiser and watched the rich people of Sonoma do battle with their credit cards. However, we did almost get into the action. Stefanie barely missed getting a purse at the last 2 seconds of the silent auction, and we nearly bought a night of dinner and dancing lessons with a group of friends. Unfortunately we were out bid by someone who wanted “pole-dancing” lessons.
It was a fun night. We had good food, dancing, and no kids to get to bed at 7:30. Best of all I had a reason to wear my favorite jacket in the world. Pure fake leopard skin jacket with black silk trim. My grandpa used to wear it out all the time. I have pictures of him living it up with my grandmother. So anytime I get a chance to wear it makes me pretty happy.
